Tribal-Style Belly Dance Workshop

March 31 & April 1, 2007

Raks Almeh Middle Eastern Dance Troupe is pleased to present a weekend of Belly Dance beginning with a two day Tribal Style Belly Dance Workshop with Sharon Moore of Infusion Tribal Belly Dance. Sharon and her partner in dance, Genevieve DuPuy, will cover Tribal Basics, Bhangra Fusion, and Skirt Work in this two day event. Workshop times are 9:30 ‘til 2:30 on Saturday with an hour break for lunch, and from 9:30 ‘til 2:30 on Sunday. Lunch will be provided.

Spirit of the Tribes Belly Dance Show

We are also hosting the Spirit of the Tribes Belly Dance Show on March 31 at 7:00 p.m. Our special guests include the following: Sharon Moore and Genevieve DuPuy, Belly Belly Hip, Caroline, Valley Gypsies, Tamara, Egyptian Breeze, and Angelina!

Both events will be held at the Chilliwack Arts Centre at 45899 Henderson Ave. Tickets for the Belly Dance Show are $20.00 and may be purchased from members of Raks Almeh Dance Troupe, or at the door beginning at 6:30 pm. (Cash only please.)
